WHO IS CALVARY BIBLE CHURCH?

At Calvary, we have a clear vision for fulfilling the Great Commission by focusing on the five New Testament purposes of the local church:

  1. Worship

  2. Evangelism

  3. Discipleship

  4. Fellowship

  5. Ministry

Fulfilling the Great Commission is the driving purpose behind everything we do. 

 
 

VISION

We want to see the Gospel transform every aspect of life in every part of the world.

 
 

Mission

We strive to be a Gospel Centered church. There are three key elements that guide our Mission and are reflected in the name of our church. Calvary Bible Church exists:

  • To celebrate the Gospel through worship and prayer

  • To proclaim the Gospel through expository preaching and discipleship

  • To live out the Gospel through fellowship and ministry.

 
 

CALVARY

To celebrate the Gospel through worship and prayer.  At Calvary, we are a body of believers that desires to celebrate the sacrifice of our risen Savior. We openly confess that our only hope is Jesus and we want to express our love for him corporately through worship and individually as we live our lives for God’s glory.

 
 

Bible

To proclaim the Gospel through expository preaching and discipleship, based on teachings of the Scripture.  The sole basis of our belief is the Bible, which is uniquely God inspired, without error, and the final authority on all matters on which it bears. Since God's Word is the only completely reliable and truthful authority, we accept the Bible as our manual for living. Our first question when faced with a decision is "What does the Bible say?"

 
 

CHURCH

To live out the Gospel through fellowship and ministry. We believe the local church is God’s primary means of nurturing and growing the body of Christ. Believers are commanded to assemble together and exercise their spiritual gifts for the maturing of the body of believers. Our time, talents and resources are to be given to the local church. Families are encouraged to make participation in the local church a priority in order to lay a good, biblical foundation for future generations. (Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Corinthians 12:4-7). We also desire to reflect the racial and ethnic diversity of the global church and the neighborhoods surrounding our church campus.
